Apple to pay to Creative for patent litigation issue

Apple Computer Inc said it would pay US$100mil to Creative Technology Ltd to settle all patent litigation over Apple’s popular iPod music player. The aggreement will gives Apple a licence to use a Creative patent and settle all legal disputes.

Creative, the world’s second largest maker of MP3 players sues Apple for infringed a patent on its “Zen” player. Creative then was very excited about this new market and it would take part in the “Made for iPod” programme.
