Creative Technology Ltd. recently has introduced the Creative ZEN V Plus MP3, photo and video player with built-in FM radio in a higher capacity of 8GB. Previously the flash based player available in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB sizes.

Creative is the innovator in the MP3 player market. Recently in digadget, Creative sued Apple for issue of patent litigation and some of us knew that Creative owns the patent on the familiar iPod-style menu systems. An interesting question is : why would I wish to buy a Zen V Plus over a Nano? It is up to your own judgement. For initial point, the Zen V Plus supports the Napster To Go music subscription service so you can have all the music you want for a small monthly sub, depending on which capacity Zen V Plus you opt for.

Compare to Nano, the Zen V Plus has 15 hours battery life, while Apple can’t compete with that. On coating, the entire player was special coated to help prevent scratching, opposite of Nano, which reacts to pocket lintas though it’s glass-fibre loft insulation. The Zen Plus player supports MP3, WAV, WMA, Audible, MPEG-4, WMV and DivX, but iPod Video does NOT support. This is the another Creative Zen Multimedia Player series that available in the market.

Even more, the Creative Zen Plus can sync with Microsoft Outlook to provide calender, contacts and other PIM data to go. So, what do you thinks? This Creative Zen V Plus is no exception.

The Creative ZEN V Plus 8GB will be available in retail stores in Singapore in October 2006 at a suggested retail price of S$429.00. For Malaysian market, it will be retailed from RM819.00 - F. Joyce.
