Microsoft Zune is not Mac compatible
![]() |
Everybody talks about the digital MP3 Zune player and yet they are comparing with the iPod.
The Zune player will not be Mac compatible during launch time. For my opinion, it’s good to have own device that running solely with its own brand. I believed that Apple’s iPod big fan hardly stick with iPod and on top of that, they are much confident with the quality and the good brand name of iPod itself.
Both of them, the Zune and the iPod had their problem recently. For Zune that been copycat by other, while iPod was in middle of patent litigation issue with Creative.
Zune is Microsoft and iPod is Apple! I hope that Zune never goes compatible with OSX. To get much integration, better keep Zune with Windows only, as for some reason that Windows constitute 90% of the market OS compared to Mac – Ron.

Yups, IMHO both have their own strength and weakness, im glad atlast Microsoft decided to compete directly in music religous because the war between Microsoft and Apple can give us variety of option to choose with. I think Microsoft are not capable of killing ipod however i do think they are the only company with the ability to hit apple where it hurts. Microsoft simply can afford to create affordable device with the same quality and features like ipod. Apple always do thing overpriced and with the less expensive product from microsoft and with the same features, apple will feel the heat again.

I agreed with you Kamil. Apple might be overprice in market compared to Zune. They claimed that Zune to be retailed at $240 if i’am not mistaken. But some people will stick with iPod cause Apple is so called ‘leader’ in portable Mulmedia Player in iPod version.
