New D3X from Nikon. Is it worth the price?

Recently, Nikon has announced their newest professional Digital SLR. – the D3X. With featuring an extreme resolution of 24.5 MP CMOS sensor in a body, the D3x sensor specifications has exactly match those of the recently introduced by Sony A900.
Other features on this new D3X like added ISO settings for the low noise ISO sensitivity from 100 to 1600. More key features.
The high price tag on Nikon USA – S7,999 for this new D3X was not expected compared to other brand like Sony A900 selling for $2,519 to S3,000 and the now shipping 21.0 MP Canon 5D Mark II with expecting to a selling price of $2,699.
My comment – Price factor! Question here start when several Professional commented they can buy Sony A900 and lenses much lower compared to the price of D3x. It definitely will matter for some Pros and 3x the price will not acceptable when you have multi choice in hand.

Nikon D3x press release and compare to Canon EOS 5D Mark II product review.
