I am pretty sure that iPhone
users having difficulties in saving email attachment of PDF, excel or document in their iPhone, while they can only save image of the email attachment to photo library. It is sad that Apple didn’t include that even in the latest 3G(S). No other way to do this unless you have to tweak the iPhone.
To do the tweak, you must have a jailbreak iPhone. Open Cydia and search for package of Attachment Saver. You have to install it to your iPhone, restart the Springboard and then you are done. Attachment Saver is a hack to the built-in iPhone mail application that allows you to save single or all attachments to disk (iPhone). But once saved you have to view it using file browser.
It is bad that iPhone does not come with any file browser to navigate the file system. With jailbroken iPhone, you can install iFile to open the attachment. Open Cydia and search for and download iFile. iFile is a shareware application. By default, Attachment Saver saves all attachments under /private/var/mobile/Library/Attachments. You can create your own folder too. Simply use the file browser application and navigate to the folder. You’ll then find all your email attachments.
Sorry for no picture to show and I am sure this is quite straight foward steps.

From the picture it give a perception. From what I saw, the outer design is similar to other brand of Smart Phone out there, that is Pocket PC phone namely Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and Samsung Omnia. It is again can be said that they are competing each other and try to capture own market segment. While Nokia N97 is based on Symbian platform, both Xperia and Omnia are based on Microsoft Mobile 6.1 and the only different is Omnia do not come with slider keyboard.
